Fruit by the Foot already sounds like it should come with a bicycle, a scraped knee, and a pocket full of sticky wrappers.

The name hits first.

Then the flower does.

Cotton candy, ripe fruit, cherry sweetness, a little earth, and just enough fuel underneath to keep it from floating off into straight-up candy land.

That part comes from the family tree.

Fruit by the Foot comes from a Mythic OG × Cotton Candy cross, which makes a lot more sense once you smell it.

The Cotton Candy side brings the sugar.

The Mythic OG side brings the weed.

And somewhere in the middle, they made this.

the sweet side

Cotton Candy is doing plenty of work here.

That sugary, spun-candy thing is hard to miss, especially right at the front of the aroma. There is fruit packed in with it too, and in our batch, cherry keeps pushing its way through.

Not cherry cough syrup.

Not fake candy flavoring.

More like that bright red, fruity sweetness that makes your brain go straight to candy before you have even really sorted out what you are smelling.

Then it starts getting a little messier.

In a good way.

The sweetness hangs around, but earth starts creeping in underneath it, and there is a faint gassy edge behind that.

That is where Mythic OG starts showing its face.

there’s OG under there

Mythic OG comes out of 3 Bears OG, worked through multiple generations by Atlas Seed.

So yes, underneath all that cotton candy and fruit is an OG line.

Which explains a lot.

Mythic OG carries fruit and citrus along with fuel, so Fruit by the Foot was never really destined to be nothing but sugar.

There is too much dirt under its fingernails for that.

The OG side gives the whole thing some grit. It keeps the sweetness from getting goofy and gives the aroma somewhere to go after the first sugary hit.

Fruit.

Candy.

Earth.

Fuel.

It shifts around depending on how long your nose stays in the jar.

Which, admittedly, might be longer than necessary.

candy with a little gas on it

This is probably the best way to explain Fruit by the Foot.

It is absolutely a sweet strain.

But it is not a dessert strain in the same way Brownie Scout is.

There is no mocha darkness here. No thick bakery thing happening.

This is brighter.

Juicier.

More like somebody dumped a handful of fruit candy onto an OG bag and somehow it worked.

The cotton-candy sweetness comes first, ripe fruit right behind it, then cherry, earth, and that little flash of fuel at the end.

The whole profile stays light on its feet even with the OG sitting underneath it.

and the name is even better than we thought

There is a funny little breeder story behind the name too.

Atlas Seed spells it Froot by the Foot, and the name was not only about the candy profile.

The plants were big producers.

A lot of flower per square foot.

So, literally:

Froot by the foot.

It just happened to end up smelling like the name too.

Which is pretty damn convenient.

our Fruit by the Foot

Our batch leans hard into the fun side of the cross.

The aroma starts sweet, with cotton candy, ripe fruit, and cherry right up front. Give it another second and the softer earthiness comes through, followed by a light touch of fuel.

The miniS are airy and softly structured, mostly emerald green with subtle purple underneath and warm orange threads running through them.

The flavor follows the same general path as the aroma.

Sweet first.

Fruit next.

Then earth and a little gas hanging around at the finish.

It is bright without being flimsy, sweet without turning syrupy, and unmistakably weed once the OG side catches up.

Basically, Fruit by the Foot grew up.

But it still has candy in its pockets.
